Please never delete the Sitemap: section on it. Because the crawler for this feature access robots.txt to get links to XML sitemap to fetch all contents written on it.

A. Unfortunately, no. Shifter Algolia Search Integration won't work under the BASIC authentication environment. Because BASIC authentication blocks the crawler access, it cannot fetch any data from your website and update records.
Q. My website is nested WordPress (installed as a subdirectory). Does search work?
A. Unfortunately, no. Shifter Algolia Search Integration won't work under the subdirectory-install environment. Because the crawler cannot fetch any data from the nested website.
